My first attempt with Painter

Siempre he utilizado photoshop para mis dibujos, pero me llamaba la atención que otros dibujantes utilizaran painter y después terminaran los dibujos con photoshop. Sabía que painter tenía unos pinceles muy realistas, pero jamás lo había utilizado hasta hoy.
Hay que decir que en realidad este no es mi primer intento. Había empezado otro dibujo mucho más elaborado, y cuando lo estaba terminando el programa se cerró solo sin avisar, y yo no había guardado nada... Así que despues hice este para no quedarme con las ganas de terminar el anterior.
La imagen es algo que ví hace años y que se me quedó grabado en la mente. Volvía de clase en autobús a la hora de comer, y por la ventana ví un gato subido sobre un muro, "restregándose" contra una flor roja (podría ser una amapola). Daba la casualidad de que era la única flor que había al rededor, y por eso la imagen me llamó mucho la atención. Pensé: "cuando llegue a casa tengo que dibujar eso", pero nunca lo hice. Hasta hoy.

I've always used photoshop for my drawings, but I noticed other artists use painter first and finish them with photoshop. I knew painter has very realistic brushes, but I have never used it until today.
I must say that this is not really my first attempt. I was doing a more elaborated one, and when I was finishing it the application shuted off suddendly, and I realized I had'nt saved my work progress... So, after that, I made this to take away the feeling of the unfinished one.
The picture is something I saw some years ago, and I got it recorded in my mind. I was coming home in bus from classes, and trhough the window I saw a cat rubbing himself with a red flower (it could be a poppy). That was the only flower in the place, and that's why the picture called my attention. I thought: "I have to draw it when I reach home", but I never did. Until today.
